Jekkula is a spacious and high-quality holiday cottage built in 2010, located in the Honkaranta area directly opposite the North Himos slopes. In winter, the slopes can be easily reached by crossing the frozen lake (approx. 300 m), and in summer the Himosranta beach makes the area an excellent destination as well. Cross-country ski tracks run right next to the cottage, and the surrounding nature and lake views make Jekkula a comfortable choice even for longer stays.

🏡 Facilities & Accommodation
On the middle floor, you will find one bedroom with a double bed and an open-plan kitchen–living room equipped with an 8-person dining table, TV, and a fireplace. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light and offer beautiful views toward the North Himos slopes.
The lower floor includes a bedroom with separate beds and a sofa bed that provides additional sleeping space. The open loft features four beds. Altogether, the cottage offers sleeping accommodation for 8–10 guests.
The cottage also includes two separate toilets, a utility room, and a spacious sauna and bathroom, providing comfort and practicality for larger groups.
🌿 Area & Surroundings
Honkaranta is known for its peaceful and nature-filled environment. In summer, the private beach and beautiful lakeside scenery invite you to relax, while in autumn the nearby forests offer great berry and mushroom picking grounds. In winter, the ski tracks and the easy access across the ice to the North Himos slopes make the cottage an ideal base for active holidaymakers.
♨️ Hot Tub
The terrace features a hot tub that can be rented for an additional fee.
Price: €150 per reservation.
Filling, heating, and emptying the hot tub are done independently according to the instructions provided in the cottage.

The cottage includes wireless internet, allowing you to stay connected and entertained throughout your holiday. Duvets and pillows are provided, and bed linen can be rented when making your reservation.
