At the Uusi-Yijälä organic farm, accommodation is not just about staying overnight, but about a holistic experience! We offer pampering accommodation at the Himos Holiday Centre in Jämsä, Lakeland Finland.
We have five rooms with toilet/shower facilities. The Red Chamber is for roses and romance, the Green Chamber reminds us of our past as a dairy farm, the Yellow Chamber celebrates Grandma’s great trip to Europe in 1924, and the Blue Chamber is known as “Lakeland Finland”. Big Chamber can accommodate up to six people, who can enjoy the morning sun on their own balcony.
During the summer season, guests can also stay in the electricity-free Granary, built in the 1740s and located in the heart of a half-hectare forest. The forest rustles and crackles, birds sing in their nesting trees, and ancient pines whisper their memories. As far as we know, the barn is not haunted, but the secret door may spark your imagination.
The delicious breakfast includes organic products, berries, fruit, porridge, smoothies, small sandwiches, bacon, and eggs, as well as juice, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate as You wish!
The room reservation includes a sauna session. There is an electric sauna upstairs next to your room and a traditional wood-heated sauna by the lake. After a sauna, you can relax in the jacuzzi or go for a swim in Patalahti.
There are plenty of outdoor activities; You can swim, canoe, sup board, play golf, fish, pick berries, count sheep, walk in the forest, or just refresh and relax under the big old pine trees. And during all year around, all the activities of the Himos ski resort and Himos Holiday Travel are available!
